Day 01

Arrival Joshimath#

Reach Joshimath in your own vehicle and evening free to relax and acclimatize. Joshimath (Altitude 1800 mtrs) is a small town in the Uttarakhand Garhwal hills on the banks of Alaknanda River. This place is very famous for Sankracharya temple and is also a hub for many mountaineering and trekking expeditions in Garhwal Himalayas. Dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath

Day 02

Joshimath to Dhak village (drive) Dhak village to Gulling (trek)

Post breakfast, drive from Joshimath to Dhak village. Then start your trek from this small but beautiful Himalayan village. Today you trek from Dhak village to Gulling. The trail passes through small hamlets. See the lush agricultural fields a typical terrace agriculture in Himalayan region. See spectacular Dronagiri peak as you walk. Packed lunch on the trail, freshly cooked dinner and overnight stay at campsite.

Day 03

Gulling to Gorson to Tali

Post breakfast, trek from Gulling to Gorson meadows and onward to Tali. Today the trail crosses lush green sprawling meadows and leads to a beautiful small lake at Tali surrounded with vast pastures as grazing grounds. We set-up up our tents around Tali lake and enjoy the evening with camp fire and hot meals. Overnight at campsite

Day 04

Tali to Kuari Pass to Pangarchulla to Khulara (Maximum Altitude 4268 mtrs Kuari Pass and 5100 mtrs Pangarchulla)

Post breakfast, trek from Gulliing to Khulara to Kuari Pass, climb Pangarchulla and back to Gulling campsite. Full day to explore Lord Curzon Area. Kuari Pass is formed by two ridges bent in an arch shape. The expansive views of magnificent snow-clad Himalayan peaks and far-stretched alpine meadows open up with magnificent views of mighty Himalayan peaks - Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri, Kedarnath, Neelkanth and twin peaks of HathiGhoriParvat. Packed lunch on the trail. Freshly cooked dinner and overnight stay at campsite.

Day 05

Khulara to Tapovan to Joshimath / Auli

Post breakfast, trek downhill from Khulara to Tapovan. See massive natural sulfur hot springs. The waters of this spring are said to have excellent medicinal properties. See village Lata and Reni (famous for Chipko movement). Lunch enroute. On the way back stop at Joshimath town and visit famous Shankaracharya math, Narsimha mandir, Kalpavriksha etc and stroll in the small but busy market area. Visit MeroPahad (“???? ????”) first souvenir shop in Joshimath-Auli area. Buy souvenirs for your near and dear ones, take some memento home - organic local agricultural produce (rajma, red rice are the most famous), handicraft, handloom, apricot oil, local honey, pure rose water and more! Dinner and overnight stay in Joshimath / Auli (as you have opted at the time of booking)

* Important Note:

Max 20 trekkers can stay at Satopanth Lake on any night. Accordingly, when your 1st group will stay at Satopanth lake,2nd group will stay back at Chakratirth. After 2nd group stays at Satopanth all trekkers will return to Laxmivan together.(ie group 2 will have to return from Satopanth to Laxmivan same day)

Important Advisory

  • All clients will have to mandatorily abide by the rules and guidelines issued by the Central and State Government in relation to Covid-19 from time to time and provide us required documentation/declarations, etc before arrival. Also, clients will have to abide by all instructions in relation to the same as advised by us on site and for entire duration of the trip
  • Weather in Auli, Gorson meadows and Kuari Pass region could be cold, with temperature ranging from max 10 degrees celsius to min-10 degrees celsius. It is recommended that clients carry suitable heavy warm clothing, adequate protective gear for snow and good shoes
  • Clients are advised to consult their physician and take suitable preventive medication (if prescribed) as a precaution for high altitude sickness
  • During trek days, we provide comfortable and quality tents suitable for season, sleeping bags, freshly cooked meals and natural stream water (boiled) for drinking. Camping chairs, separate kitchen tent and toilet tent facility will be available. Please note that water for bathing/washing clothes cannot be provided during trek days
  • Trekking on any particular day may be aborted or cancelled in case of extreme/unfavourable weather conditions, keeping in mind safety of the clients. Himalayan Snow Runner trip leader's decision on this will be final and binding on clients.   • All clients will have to complete and sign Himalayan Snow Runner's mandatory Client Information and Waiver Form before starting the trek
  • We expect clients to respect local culture and traditions, particularly when visiting temples, Holy places or interacting with locals
  • Himalayan Snow Runner promotes ecologically sensitive responsible tourism and we seek our client's support to help us leave minimum ecological footprint

  2. 05 night deluxe accommodation on twin sharing basis as per itinerary (2N Joshimath, 3N Tents). One room/tent on triple occupancy basis if the group size is an odd number

  4. Travel Insurance or any other kind of insurance(Trekkers are advised to obtain applicable insurance on own)

  9. Charges for ropeway, chair-car, helicopter ride or any sightseeing not mentioned in the itinerary
  10. Any expense of personal nature or any gifts, sightseeing, tips or donations
  11. Any drinks, tips for the guide, porters, cook, helpers, drivers, etc
  12. Any other cost or expense which is not specifically included in the price inclusion

  • If cancelled before 15 days of start date - 85% refund
